Thanks to decades of experience in the field of cardiovascular surgery, I have been able to gain a corresponding wealth of experience in more than 13,000 operations. This enables me to perform even the most difficult operations on the heart, the aorta in the chest and abdominal area, the heart valves and the coronary vessels with the greatest possible safety for the patient.

Thanks to my many years of experience at the University Hospital Zurich and Hirslanden Group or as Medical Director of the Cardiac Surgery Department of the University Hospital Giessen-Marburg, I am able to provide optimal care for patients with cardiovascular surgical diseases. My experience is complemented by my surgical work in 16 countries in Eastern Europe and Asia, which I have carried out over the last 26 years within the framework of the "EurAsia Heart - A Swiss Medical Foundation", which I established, and which includes adult surgery, paediatric cardiac surgery as well as surgery for congenital heart defects in adults.
